And Then She Was 1…

When I was younger time passed slowly. I complained that a school year took SO LONG to go by. My dad would smile at me and go about his business. One of my clearest memories is him saying, "You know Marti, I do the same thing every day but each day for you is something new. You're just starting your life" On his 60th birthday he said, "I hope the next 20 years don't go by as fast as the last 20 years did." I didn't understand his sentiments until I had the girls and now I hope this next year doesn't go by as fast as last year. Despite my best efforts to slow time down, it keeps ticking and babies have birthdays.

I have REALLY awesome friends. They are a lot cooler than I am. Eliza is the baby girl of one of my best friends. I love watching Eliza get bigger. The birthdays keep coming and the babies keep getting bigger while I don't think us parents feel much different. We love them the best we can while we watch them grow, we give them super-cute big hair bows to wear for their parties and we console each other about the passage of time. Because, as hard as it is, these are sweet, sweet times we have right now.

Happy Birthday sweet Baby Eliza, we are all so in love with you!

Aaron is 4! Sneak Peak!

Just a little pre-view for Mom. Love ya, Debbie!

Sweet little Ellie…

Is two! And, can be bribed easily with fruit snacks. Love this little girl so much. Must be the name and her big, beautiful brown eyes. xoxo

This is what you get…

When one of your most beautiful friends has three baby girls. Wow.

The Daniel Family and Back to Reality

Vacation is, well, Awesome! Re-life re-entry can be a rough (as any parent knows!). Chris and I spent five blissfull days on the beach in Mexico. I spent my birthday drinking mojitos and pina colada's while listening to the ocean from my beach bed. I missed the girls like crazy but coming home to a cold Atlanta was, well, cold. I am so very grateful to Grandma Cindy and Uncle Drew who managed the girlies while we were away and so very lucky to have a hubby who will whisk me away and a family who will step in and take are of my sweet girls!

Today Chris prepared for our Superbowl party while I got a bit of work done. I had such a fun time editing the images from my shoot with the Daniel family. Baby Eddie was a snuggly, sweet little man and his big sister was equally protective over him and spunky in her own right. I love these images, they capture the spirit of their family so well. Love you all!

Ghanta Family

Just a reminder…you have until November 15th to order your Holiday cards with a 15% discount. Check my card collection out here, there is also a form at the bottom to place your order. On a more personal note, I am starting a little Sears Family Home redecoration. Nothing big, adding some new art, painting the front door, having my mom make me some new valances. Today I visited Jen Singh Studios and got my hands on some AMAZING pieces of art. I cannot wait to show you pictures of them up, they are just fantastic. *Swoon*

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of working with the Ghanta family. They boys are SO adorable with creamy skin and dark, soulful eyes. The days was absolutely fantastic, which has been the norm around the ATL this fall. We had an outfit change (I am a big fan of the outfit change, always consider having one!) and ran around their beautiful yard. Sireesha, thank you so much for asking me to photograph your family, I really enjoyed myself! XOXO

Busy busy Asher!

Kids crack me up, they are always SO busy. Asher was no exception. He was running and jumping and snacking, of course! I met him and his parents at Emory's Clairmont Campus where we saw train tracks and took a walk down the trail. They were a super fun little family! It was awesome to meet you guys, I can't wait to see you again!! XOXO

Thomas Family!

In September I met up with the Thomas kiddos (and their Mama) in downtown Newnan. I had never been to  the Newnan square before, it is so cute! We found some very cool old buildings and train tracks (I love me some train tracks) to play on. The kids were awesome, and totally knew how to strike a pose. What a fun evening!

Cutest Family!

Accessories. They make me HAPPY! Outfit changes. Make me even happier! Ruxi had her family styled up and ready to go for our photo session. Sophie and Collin were fun, happy and cute, it was a joy to work with them. Sophie displayed her two-year old energy with great gusto and Collin was one chilled out, laid back little dude. His t-shirt with the faux tie was almost more cuteness than I could handle! He was just learning to sit and showed me his skills perched in the Master Bedroom. Ruxi, Henry, Sophie and Collin, you are AWESOME and I cannot wait to see you again! XOXO

Rain, rain go AWAY!

I spent an afternoon with the cute Duncan kiddos, they are so adorable! We hung out in their front yard then got rained on!! And, not a slight drizzle…it was a full on thunderstorm. So, we made the best of it, headed inside and got some super cute tutu pics (one of my favorites!).
