Mr. Fin!

I know I have previously mentioned (on multiple occasions) my love for the Atlanta weather. Despite the last few days of rain, I continue to love the weather here. Case in point…I was able to schedule a photo session, outside, in January with two days notice…and it was 65 degrees! To top it off, Fin was AWESOME! He has the most amazing hair, expressive eyes and tireless 3-year-old boy spirit. We did some running around Agnes Scott in the warm January sun. Fin got lots of laughs and smiles from the staff and students, they are great to share such a beautiful campus with us local photo-squatters!

Baby Weston!

What a sweet, sweet boy. I spent some time with little Weston and his mom when he was  7 days old. He was very well behaved and tolerant of the positions we lovingly cajoled him into. He was very interested in the goings on, and somehow managed to keep his little body awake for two whole hours!

Baby Luke!

I have gotten to spend some time with a few very sweet baby boys lately. Little Luke was the first. Such a sweetie, he was very interested in what we were doing and wanted to stay awake for most of our shoot. He enjoyed looking up at my lights and just kinda chilled for us. He is also a die hard Red Socks fan…smart boy!

In other news, I have ran into the typical problems that go along with updating the behind-the-scenes blogging interface. I have my technical support team (AKA my husband) working on it and hope to get the formatting issues fixed this weekend. But, formatting issues or not the blogging must go on!

Well…

…what else do you expect me to do with one perfectly good lobster pot and one perfectly cute baby??

PictureMommy Collage Collection!

I am excited to be releasing a mixture of new products in the next few weeks. The Collage Collection is my first. I have informally been including these great little (and sometimes not-so-little) collages in with my Photo Session Proofs but it is now official! Each Full Session will include three photo collages and each Mini Session will include two.

Check out the new Collage Collection page at PictureMommy.com. Some of the collages you have seen before and some you have not.

This is an awesome collage I put together of my Amie. I LOVE looking at it, primarily because I am in total awe of how amazing she is at yoga and because she is now pregnant with baby girl #3 but I am sure she can still do almost every pose (yes, she IS amazing)!

Check out all of the collages and be on the lookout for at least two new product releases in the next few weeks!

Brrrr! PictureMommy Winter Specials!

I always feel like I should qualify my temperature judgments.  It’s cold for Atlanta, not cold for Missouri (where I am from) or cold for many other places North of Georgia, but…it’s cold for us Southerners! My kiddos actually need real winter coats right now, not just a heavy fleece and a pair of socks (the girls don’t usually wear socks…I have a battle with socks and have mostly given up).

Because it’s so cold, PictureMommy is heading inside. I am now a Southern wimp! Until the thermometer hits  50 degrees we are taking those pictures inside. To celebrate my cold-weather protest I am offering 25% off any photo session that is booked before February 28th, 2010. Keep in mind these sessions will take place indoors (either at your house or another location we agree on).

I am also offering 25% off all prints ordered through PictureMommy before February 28th, 2010.

Indoor sessions are perfect for pregnancy or newborn pictures. They are also great for kiddos under one year old.

Shoot me an email or give me a call if you have questions, want to schedule a shoot or order prints!
