The Douglas Family!

I know I have mentioned the Atlanta weather more than once in the last few posts. But, it has been crazy! I was worried I was going to have to reschedule my shoot with the Douglas Family due to impending Atlanta rain. Shannon and I had emailed a few times about the predicted precip. The night before  it looked like it was going to be cold and cloudy, which we decided we could handle. Turns out it was 75 degrees and sunny with not a cloud in the sky! I had a great time exploring trees and creeks with this quartet. They are so fun and lively…and helpful (I am not accustomed to photographing kiddos who can hold diffusers)!

I hope everyone out there had a great Thanksgiving and downed a little turkey! Enjoy the Douglas Family Pics!

Hello Gorgeous!

I met Baby Camille and her Mama on a warm and sunny morning after we re-scheduled a couple of times due to crummy weather. I am so in love with this little lady. She is BEAUTIFUL. Her skin is so soft and the color of caramel. I was scheming how I could sneak her out with all my camera gear but I decided her family might notice she was gone. I could go on and on about how fabulous she is, but I will let the pictures speak for me.

The Probst-Lebanon Family at Piedmont Park!

The weather in Atlanta has been crazy these past few months. It will be chilly and rain for days then temperatures will pop up to 75 with no warning. The day I meet with the Probst-Lebanon family was no exception. It started out sunny but very cool with an empty Piedmont Park. By the time we were ending our shoot I was jockeying for photo spots and the sweaters almost came off. Piedmont was definitely the place to be with cameras that day! Despite the weather craziness we had an awesome time and got some super fun shots of this sweet family.

The Takieddine Family!

I met Ella and her parents at Agnes Scott for a quick Mini-Holiday Session. Ella was so sweet and full of personality. She  was sporting an awesome (and very fashion forward) little peacoat. I love hanging out with Emily and Sami, they are so fun and I love how they approach parenting. They are both interested and involved and simply a joy to be around. Most exciting is that Ella is going to be a big sister! I cannot wait to meet the newest member the Takieddine family.

Landon and his Family!

I had an awesome time shooting Landon and his sweet family. He was so energetic and full of fun, it was awesome! I had the please of meeting his grandparents who were visiting from Texas. I love an extended family photo shoot, the relationship between Grandparents and Grandkiddos is always magical to witness and capture. And, Landon rocked the coolest blue and orange sweater, I love it!

Abbott Family!

I took pictures of the Abbott Family last summer when Jack was a smaller dude. He has certainly not lost any energy as he has grown!  I had a great time photographing them in their home, it has the most amazing light and Farrar has done a fabulous job decorating it! Thanks guys, I cannot wait to meet the new baby!

The McMillan Family!

I was so happy when Jen emailed me about taking some holiday pictures of their little family. I met up with them back in June to photograph then 18-Month old Riley, who has the most amazing blue eyes. On Halloween I was lucky to get  to spend a fun morning with them again. They have the cutest little house with a beautiful tree in the front yard. Our plan was to play outside and get some shots of Riley and Darby The Dog. Mother Nature had different plans and after about 10 minutes outside we retreated to the porch then into their house. Despite the weather we all had a great time and I was so happy to see them again.

Barb and Her Boys!

Barb kept warning me that I wouldn’t be able to get the boys to smile. She said they were bad at having their picture taken and (I think) was a little nervous. I showed up at the shoot with leftover Halloween candy and puppets, ready to wrestle smiles out of the little guys. But, I didn’t have to use the puppets once and the candy only came out at the end of the shoot because the boys were SO GREAT! I got to see their secret hiking trail and had such a fun time! Many thanks to Barb and her boys for letting me capture your smiley, super-fun family!

The Czech Family!

A few weeks ago I met up with the Czech Family at a local park that boasts a fun little creek. It was perfect place for the Czech’s, they are such an outdoorsy family. I also love the colors Lisa picked for the girls, so bright and lively! Thanks for a super fun morning, see you all again soon!
